It’s about to be Labor Day weekend here in the United States. That not only means you probably don’t have to work on Monday, but college football is king this weekend. College football has done a remarkable job of making this a great weekend to kickoff the season. The biggest matchup on the slate. That’s easy. It’s the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide versus the No. 3 Florida State Seminoles.
This is the annual Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game in Atlanta. Kickoff from brand-new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta will be at 8:00 p.m. ET on September 2. ABC will have the national broadcast. WatchESPN and FuboTV will have the available live streams.

Despite being national blue-bloods in adjacent states, it’s strange to think that the Crimson Tide and the Seminoles have only met on the gridiron four times in their history. While Florida State won the most recent meeting in 2007, that win was later vacated by the Seminoles.
The record books indicate that Alabama is 2-0-1 all-time in this head-to-head series, having last played the Seminoles back in 1974. If these two teams end up winning their conferences, they could very well meet again in the 2018 College Football Playoff.
