ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith found himself in an awkward, yet hilarious, situation following Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor’s main event.

The fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor had a lot of energy surrounding it, and as Stephen A. Smith from ESPN can attest to, the energy continued following the fight as well.

On Saturday night in Las Vegas, Nevada at the T-Mobile Arena, Mayweather improved to 50-0 in his final fight as he defeated McGregor via TKO in Round 10. Following the fight, ESPN reacted to  the fight and as Smith was giving his take on Mayweather’s performance, a McGregor fan made his presence felt by yelling the now famous catchphrase “F–k the Mayweathers!” Smith’s reaction was priceless, as can be seen in the video below, courtesy of Twitter user gifdsports.

“I don’t know who the man is,” Smith replied following a pretty surprised look.

It was a highly entertaining fight between Mayweather and the reigning UFC lightweight champion McGregor. According to the judges, the fight wasn’t as close as many watched it thought it was. Judge Dave Moretti gave the first three rounds to McGregor, while the other two judges had scored it eight rounds to one for “Money” Mayweather.

Throughout the contest, McGregor showed an unorthodox approach as many had suspected he would, but by the fourth round, Mayweather began to get comfortable as the momentum began to swing. In the ninth round, the now 50-0, former five-division world champion had his most impressive round, hitting McGregor with big punches, leaving the UFC lightweight champion, at times, on wobbly legs.

It was just a matter of time as the tenth round was looking very much like the round prior. Mayweather landed a flurry of unanswered power punches, leading to referee Robert Byrd calling a stop to the highly entertaining, and in the eyes of the boxing community, highly surprising main event.
