Miami Hurricanes 0-0

The Miami Hurricanes have jumped out of nowhere to take a spot as one of the better teams in the ACC, and they could rise quickly on these power rankings as the year plays out.

Last year, the Hurricanes found themselves in the top 10 and as a widely talked about team in the nation, but they quickly fell apart just as fast as they rose up the rankings to falter back toward the bottom of the ACC. However, they’re replacing their starting quarterback and will have to get things going quickly to prove that they’re no fluke heading into the 2017 season.

Louisville Cardinals 0-0

The Louisville Cardinals have unfortunately found themselves caught in a rough spot in the ACC over the years, as they’ve had some talented teams that come up just short in the conference with Florida State and Clemson to worry about.

Now, however, they’ll need to take advantage of Lamar Jackson being under center for what could be the final season, and make sure they succeed with the talent they have. Florida State and Clemson will get all of the attention for the ACC teams this season, but, as always, Louisville has the potential to fly under the radar and shock some people this season.
