Rams at Packers live stream: TV schedule, time and more
By Brad Weiss
In their final tuneup before the regular season, the Green Bay Packers will play host to the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night.
Week 4 of the NFL preseason is a chance for the starters for each team to step back and get ready for the regular season. For the Green Bay Packers, they head into the 2017 season as a favorite in the NFC, so do not expect their stars to see any time on Thursday night. The Los Angeles Rams will need to get a look at plenty of players on their roster, as they are currently in a rebuilding phase.
With each team carrying 90 men into this matchup on Thursday, it will be interesting to see which players separate themselves and earn a roster spot. Last week, the starters got the chance to get a final tuneup before the regular season, so this week is the fringe players’ shot. The action will kick off at 8pm ET inside Lambeau Field, which is sure to be rocking even for a preseason game.
Packers head coach Mike McCarthy enters his 12th season as the team’s head coach, and is coming off a year that saw his team lose in the NFC Championship Game. They figure to be in the mix once again in 2017, as quarterback Aaron Rodgers is one of the best in the history of the NFL at the position. The Rams are hoping Jared Goff is the answer for them under center, and he has looked a lot better playing under new head coach Sean McVay this Summer.
Here is how to watch all of the action online:
Date: Thursday, August 31
Time: 8:00 p.m. ET
Location: Green Bay, Wisconsin
Venue: Lambeau Field
TV Info: NFL Network
Live Stream: NFL Game Pass
Next: NFL power rankings: Cowboys, Steelers pushing Patriots
Thursday night is the final chance for players on the fringe to make their mark on the team, and possibly win a roster spot. For those players, they plan on leaving everything out on the field, so there should be no lack of intensity. The regular season opens up next Thursday, so time is running out on thirty or so players on each roster.
