4. Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams find themselves stuck in a pretty loaded division (outside of the San Francisco 49ers), as they’ll have to combat some talented offenses between the Seattle Seahawks and the Arizona Cardinals.

While they have a talented defensive line, depending on what happens with Aaron Donald’s holdout, the Rams do need some help in the secondary and need someone to strike fear in offenses looking to light them up in the passing game. Enter T.J. Ward.

Ward would be a solid addition to the Rams lineup, would give them the physical presence that they’re lacking, and could help to really solidify their defense to help bail the team out if Jared Goff makes any big mistakes on offense. Plus, living in Los Angeles is probably a lot better than living in the cold in Denver during the winter, and his divisional rivals are all in domes or nice weather stadiums, which would be a nice bonus.

3. Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns are slowly building up a solid defense, and although they won’t be contending anytime soon, signing Ward could be a big step towards rebuilding their roster in a tough AFC North.

The Browns have a little extra potential to sign Ward, especially since they drafted the safety back in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He’d get to join a defensive lineup that already features his “clone” in Jabrill Peppers out of Michigan and a talented rookie in Myles Garrett, and he’d get to return back to where it all started in his career.

Although he may not want to join a roster where his potential for winning takes a serious nosedive, especially jumping from a big contender in the Broncos to the worst of the worst in the Browns, it’d give him a chance to help rebuild a roster and make them a big threat to the Steelers and Ravens offenses in the AFC North.
