Week 1 of the college football calendar brought one of the most highly-anticipated opening games in the sport’s history, a comeback for the ages and everyone being confused as to whether or not Texas was back or not. (They weren’t.) Here’s the Top 25 projections heading into Week 2 next week.

It’s early September, which means college football is back.

There’s your out, friends. With football back, there’s no family gatherings or weddings you’ll have to miss because the games are on. You’re busy and they’ll just have to understand.

Speaking of understanding, there was plenty of things that were clear to understand and a lot of things that make no sense whatsoever.

Here’s an example: the entire Texas A&M-UCLA game.

Along with an absurd 34-point comeback that defies any sense of logic inside of the Rose Bowl on Sunday night, the Crimson Tide of Alabama rolled over the Florida State Seminoles in Atlanta in the big No. 1-No. 3 matchup, Cam Newton’s little brother led Howard University over UNLV as a 45-point (FORTY-FIVE!) underdog and there was a point where a punter completely whiffed on a punt in the Wyoming-Iowa game.

Basically, it’s good to have you back, college football. You usually lack any kind of logic and that’s why we love and missed you very much.

With some season-defining games coming next week in Week 2 of the young season, let’s take a look at the projected Top 25 of the Associated Press poll for next week.
