There’s plenty of ways to watch the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots collide with the Kansas City Chiefs in the first game of NFL 2017.

In this day and age of worldwide communication and mass media, it’s perhaps easier to list where you can’t watch the 2017 NFL season kick off than it is to the various options you have to see it. So wherever you are on Thursday night, it figures to be a terrific encounter between the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots and the reigning AFC West titlists in the Kansas City Chiefs.

The challenge for Andy Reid’s team is simple. Can his defense stifle Tom Brady and company and his team, which led the NFL with 33 takeaways in 2016, force the Pats into some costly mistakes? By the way, this marks the fourth time that the Patriots will host the Thursday night season opener. Both the Chiefs and Patriots have already has to deal with costly losses this offseason due to knee injuries. A little over a week ago on the same evening, Kansas City lost starting running back Spencer Ware. Meanwhile, New England watched wide receiver Julian Edelman go down for the year. It will be intriguing to see how these two quality head coaches adjust this season.
