20. Norris Cole, PG, Maccabi Tel Aviv

Norris Cole was a part of what’s become a yearly overhaul of the Maccabi Tel Aviv roster, and his fit in the Euroleague setting is going to be intriguing. After struggling to find an NBA role in the post-LeBron James Miami Heat world, Cole finds himself at 28-years old, attempting to make his mark in Europe after a short stint in China. How he fits into what might actually be a cohesive Maccabi team remains to be seen. Will he be the headliner? Or will Pierre Jackson? Is he going to try to distribute primarily, or is he a scorer?

Like Brian Roberts, we haven’t seen Cole as a primary player on a team in quite some time. Other than some brief instances during his tenure with a decimated Pelicans team, he was never allowed to show the extent of his skill set in the NBA. With the talent drop-off to Euroleague and the Israeli League, what will he do? That’s a question that ultimately will determine whether Maccabi can get back to competing, or if this will be another disaster campaign.
