Looking forward to the somewhat-traditional season opener between the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys? Check here where you can catch this game.

Earlier in the day, the other half of the NFC East was busy butting helmets. The Washington Redskins were looking to extend a five-game winning streak over the Philadelphia Eagles. On Sunday evening at AT&T Stadium, the New York Giants hope to make it four consecutive victories over Jason Garrett’s Dallas Cowboys.

New York’s defensive unit did a number on the eventual NFC East champions, holding them to a combined 29 points. The Giants would sweep the Cowboys for the first time since 2011 and handed Garrett’s club two of their three regular-season setbacks.

TV: NBC

Time: 8:30 pm ET

Broadcasters: Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth, Michele Tafoya

While this is a pair of talented football teams, the Giants could be down arguably their best offensive player. Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is still feeling the effects of that injury he suffered in the preseason against the Cleveland Browns. Stay tuned for updates.

Odds

Line: Cowboys (-5.5)

Over/Under: 47.5

Despite being on short end of this series three straight times, the consensus at SportsBook Review has last season’s NFC No. 1 playoff seed as nearly a touchdown favorite over Ben McAdoo’s club. It’s also worth noting that the over/under for this game stands at 47.5. In two meetings last season, the Giants and Cowboys combined for a grand total of 56 points.

Yes, the Dallas Cowboys will have running back Ezekiel Elliott for this contest. And yes, Garrett’s club will be at home for this important clash. But there’s something to be said for when a team “has your number.” We have to lean toward McAdoo and Manning in this clash. That is, until the Cowboys prove on the field that they can beat Big Blue.

Pick: Giants 21, Cowboys 16
