The BC Lions host the Montreal Alouettes at BC Place on Friday, Sept. 8. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
The Montreal Alouettes and BC Lions enter week 12 of the CFL season on losing streaks. The Alouettes have lost three straight and five of their last six. The Lions have lost three straight and four of the past five games. Lions head coach Wally Buono decided to switch quarterbacks. Jonathan Jennings will head to the bench and be replaced by Travis Lulay. Lulay played well earlier in the season when he replaced an injured Jennings but has struggled with turnovers. Montreal also made a quarterback change last week. Starter Darian Durant was replaced by Drew Willy last week against Ottawa. However, Durant will start against BC.

Lions running back Jeremiah Johnson started the season on fire, leading the league in yards. However, over the past two games, Johnson has slowed down significantly, picking up only 93 all-purpose yards. The Alouettes will likely try to run the ball with Tyrell Sutton to take the pressure off of Durant. Sutton has missed three games this season but is averaging 5.1 yards per game.
Defensively, both Montreal and BC have struggled this season, with both units allowing more than 26 points per game. Both teams have struggled to get to the opposing quarterback and are tied for last in sacks.
