Stanford running back Bryce Love torched the USC defense on Saturday for a 75-yard touchdown
On Saturday night during Week 2 of the college football season, we’re being treated to an amazing matchup out in the Pac-12 between two teams who many believe can win the conference this year, Stanford and USC. And it didn’t take long to get some fireworks inside the Coliseum, thanks to Stanford running back Bryce Love.
USC took a 7-0 lead in the first quarter of this one on Saturday night, and it was time for Stanford to answer. Thankfully, they were able to provide that answer and it came courtesy of this 75-yard touchdown run by Love.
ONE PLAY, 75 YARDS. @Blovee_20 with the quick answer. Tie ballgame.

The casual fans out there might not know much about Love, as they’re used to associating Christian McCaffrey with the Stanford running game. With McCaffrey now in the NFL, though, people are going to learn just who exactly Bryce Love is and he will make sure of it.
Now Love turning on the jets was a sight to behold, but it absolutely cannot be overlooked just how great the offensive line was on this one. Love wasn’t even touched by one USC defender on this run, which is a testament to the blocking by the big guys up front. Basically, you could have driven a truck through the hole that was there for Love, and that’s just how the Cardinal like it when it comes to the running game.
USC had some trouble defending the run last week in that close win over Western Michigan, and it looks like they might be dealing with some more of those issues here on Saturday night against Stanford of the Pac-12 North.
