Dawg Nation is out in full force in South Bend. The Georgia Bulldogs are packing the house at Notre Dame Stadium before their huge game on Saturday night.
It has been almost four decades since these college football blue-bloods last met on the gridiron. Saturday night, we have a great game between the No. 15 Georgia Bulldogs and the No. 24 Notre Dame Fighting Irish up in South Bend.
This game has been circled on the calendar for both teams for some time now. So many from Dawg Nation made the trek to Chicago over the week to get fired up for this game. Though it is a home game for the Fighting Irish, just look at this crowd. It’s a sea of Red and Black. What a sight!

Notre Dame will get their chance to show out in Athens in 2019 in the second part of this home-and-home series. But did you really think Georgia fans would be packing the house in Notre Dame Stadium quite like this?
This should be one of the best games of the night, as these two teams are looking to get back into the national spotlight in 2017. Georgia is playing under second-year head coach Kirby Smart. While the Bulldogs are the favorite to come out of the SEC East, they have a long way to go to be in the national championship picture.
Notre Dame is coming off a frustrating 4-8 season in 2016. The Fighting Irish have already had great success under head coach Brian Kelly. They reached the 2012 BCS National Championship and made a New Year’s Six bowl in 2015. Will this be a year of redemption for the Irish?

Notre Dame may be the slight favorite in this game, as Georgia starts a true freshman at quarterback in Jake Fromm. However, the Bulldogs have certainly packed the house in a road game nonetheless.
