The Ottawa Redblacks host the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at TD Place Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 9. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats picked up their first win of the season last week against Toronto, 24-22. The Ottawa Redblacks have won three straight games to move into first place in the East Division.

Hamilton made significant changes in the bye week, installing June Jones as their head coach. While the offense under new starting quarterback Jeremiah Masoli was not significantly better, the defense looked much better. However, Hamilton suffered a number of injuries to their Canadian players. CFL rules force teams to start seven Canadians and have 21 national players on the game day roster. The injuries forced the team to sign five Canadians this week and will likely force them to make changes to the starting lineup.

Ottawa quarterback Trevor Harris has been one of the best all-season long. Harris leads the league in passing yards (3531) and touchdowns (22). When the Redblacks’ offensive line is able to give Harris time, he is able to find top receivers Greg Ellingson and Brad Sinopoli. Defensively, the Redblacks have significantly improved over the past three games. In the first eight games of the season, Ottawa allowed 28.6 points per game. During their three game winning streak, the Redblacks have allowed 15.3 points per game.
