The Louisville Cardinals face the North Carolina Tar Heels at Kenan Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 9 and here’s all the info you need to watch.

With Lamar Jackson returning to the Louisville Cardinals for the 2017 season, there’s obviously a lot of reason to be excited about this team. They have the opportunity to really be something special with the reigning Heisman Trophy winner back in the fold. However, they need to put it all together. The North Carolina Tar Heels will test that in Week 2 as the Cardinals head to Chapel Hill for an intriguing battle.

In the season-opener, Jackson looked like himself with nearly 500 yards of offense by himself. However, the team as a whole looked shaky as they only beat Purdue by a touchdown. For this team to be successful, they’re going to have to show better than that, especially on defense.

Week 1 was even less inspiring for UNC, however. They lost to a lackluster Cal Golden Bears team, largely thanks to alternating quarterbacks when it’s clear that Chazz Suratt should have the job over transfer Brandon Harris. If the Tar Heels opt for the former against Louisville, this could be a fun quarterback battle at Kenan Stadium.
