Rosier did a great job of spreading the wealth; 10 receivers caught passes over the course of the game. This kept Bethune-Cookman’s defense on its toes and could cause problems for Arkansas State. Miami’s ground game was even better. Mark Walton rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns. Additionally, Travis Homer carried the ball 11 times for 108 yards. The Hurricanes forced two turnovers. This ability could cause trouble for the Red Wolves. Miami wants to continue this level of play in hopes of improving upon last season’s 9-4 record which resulted in a Russell Athletic Bowl victory over West Virginia.
