The Oregon Ducks looked good in Willie Taggart’s debut last weekend, and will be looking for win No. 2 against Nebraska on Saturday.

During their Week 1 victory against Southern Utah, the Oregon Ducks racked up an incredible 77 points. The game was never in doubt, as star running back Royce Freeman ran all over the opposition, finding the end zone four times. The Ducks rushing attack was so good that even Freeman’s backup, Kani Benoit had three touchdowns of his own.

The Ducks opponent on Saturday will be Nebraska, who is a much stronger opponent than Southern Utah was. However, the Cornhuskers barely were able to beat Arkansas State in their opener, as the Red Wolves threw, and ran all over them. If they play defense the way they did on Saturday against Oregon, they will be in for another long day.

The season opener for the Ducks marked the first game for Willie Taggart as the team’s head coach. It was a down year for Oregon last season, but a win on Saturday would be a nice start to the Taggart-era in Eugene. If Nebraska fails to defend the pass like they did last week, sophomore quarterback Justin Herbert is going to have a field day.

Here is how to watch the action online.

I would expect the Ducks to roll in this one, as they showed they can get it done on both sides of the ball last weekend. If Red Wolves quarterback Justice Hansen did not overthrow the receiver at the end of the Nebraska game last week, the Cornhuskers would be heading to Oregon at 0-1. Their effort has to be better on Saturday, or this one could get ugly early.
