The Winnipeg Blue Bombers host the Saskatchewan Roughriders at Investors Group Field on Saturday, Sept. 9. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

After starting the season 1-3, the Saskatchewan Roughriders have caught fire, winning four of their past five games to climb into a playoff spot. Last week, Saskatchewan defeated Winnipeg 38-24 in the annual Labor Day game, snapping the Bombers five game winning streak. The Blue Bombers get an immediate chance to avenge their loss, as they host the Riders in the Banjo Bowl rematch. Winnipeg are three points behind first place Calgary, while Saskatchewan are four points behind Winnipeg with a game in hand.

Saskatchewan quarterback Kevin Glenn had a big game last week, throwing for 386 yards and three touchdowns. Receivers Duron Carter, Bakari Grant, and Naaman Roosevelt all had over 100 yards receiving and will likely be a big part of the Riders’ game plan. The Riders are forced to make a change at running back with Cameron Marshall missing the game with an injury. Canadian Kienan LaFrance will get the start in his place. LaFrance ran for 157 yards in the East Final last year but has only surpassed 30 yards rushing in three other games in his career.

Bombers quarterback Matt Nichols threw for 364 yards but 150 yards were check downs to running backs, Timothy Flanders and Andrew Harris. However, neither Flanders or Harris had success running the ball. Except the Bombers to try stretching the field with Darwin Adams and Weston Dressler to try opening up more space underneath.
