6. Chris Thompson turns on the spin cycle

The Washington Redskins didn’t have much to cheer about in today’s 30-17 loss to the Eagles, but this Chris Thompson touchdown was a treat to watch.

Thompson caught the pass over the middle from Kirk Cousins and put five Eagles defenders in the spin cycle. In a move that looked straight out of Madden, Thompson wow’d everyone in the stadium as he ran in for the touchdown. It was one of his only four catches of the day, but the best one in fact.

5. Welcome to the NFL, T.J. Watt

T.J. Watt had himself a day. The rookie outside linebacker was a huge contributor in the Steelers 21-18 win over the Browns. He finished with six tackles, two sacks and this impressive interception on Browns quarterback DeShone Kizer.

Kizer’s pass was way under-thrown to the receiver and Watt snagged it right out of the air. He even put together an impressive return on top it.

Many were shocked to see Watt earn the start today over veteran James Harrison, but it’s clear why. The 30th overall pick is following in the family name with big plays in the NFL. While J.J. is still the dominant brother in the household, T.J. outperformed him today.
