9. LeBron James

Much like when you go to Grandpa Tom Brady’s house, there are certain rules expected of you when you head to Grandpa LeBron James’ kingdom. First off, don’t you dare speak ill of Aunt Rihanna. That will get you quickly thrown out of Grandpa LeBron’s kingdom. Second, you have to bring your best. If you’re not going to live up to LeBron’s standards, you may as well grab your shoes and home. Or at least demand that you get traded to a different family.

Despite being known as someone who demands the best when you enter his kingdom, Grandpa LeBron also just wants to fit in. Ever heard of Snapchat and Instagram? Grandpa LeBron loves those two social media applications. He’s always posting his workouts, wine sipping, and musical jams. He connects with his grandkids by proving to them that he knows how to use technology.

Sometimes, Grandpa LeBron can be a bit overbearing. Even though he’s a generous man who guarantees you a trip to the Finals, he commands so much respect that it gets annoying. All of his rules are overwhelming and even though you follow them to the letter, you just want to escape to a pretty place like Boston.

LeBron is the ultimate grandpa. You must respect him for everything he’s been through, he’s willing to continue to parent, he shows admiration and affection for you, and he just wants to be your friend and connect with you. We’re all gonna miss Grandpa LeBron when he’s gone.
