Barcelona have started the league season with three straight wins, and have looked somewhat refreshed under Ernesto Valverde, even without Neymar. However, Juventus are a level above their La Liga opponents so far. For Barca to succeed, Lionel Messi will have to pick up where he left off at the weekend, when he scored a hat-trick against Espanyol.

Barcelona at home is a scary sight, but Juventus will not be scared as they have already faced them multiple times in the Champions League. Barcelona will look to control possession and lull Juventus to sleep. There will likely only be one or two goals in this match as both defenses are solid, but it will be very competitive.

Paulo Dybala will be the key for Juventus as he will play a vital role in breaking down the Barcelona defense. His connection with Gonzalo Higuain will be something to watch for as they attempt to score an elusive away goal at the Camp Nou. If Juventus’ defense can keep the Spanish side in check, they have a really good chance of escaping with a result. If Juventus can hit Barcelona on the counter-attack, it will be a very close game. But if they can’t break the press, they will struggle.
