Images of the Philadelphia 76ers’ new alternate red uniforms have leaked online.

As images of the new and improved NBA jerseys begin to surface, leaks have become more and more prominent. Rumors and images have surfaced in recent weeks portraying the 76ers’ new alternate uniforms. However, the reports were confirmed as graphic designer Conrad Burry released a picture of the uniforms in NBA 2K18.

All things considered, these uniforms are a sight to behold. Philadelphia fans are being treated to arguably the most stylish jerseys in the Association. Although Sixers uniforms have undergone their fair share of makeovers in recent past, these are by far the best.

As the NBA undergoes a Nike transformation, the brilliance of the company is being brought out in many forms. No other uniform represents the excellence of Nike more than the 76ers’ alternate red’s, however. The slick jersey integrates a retro style into the newer, more simple look of current NBA uniforms.

Let’s start with the front. The font used to write “Sixers” across the chest screams classic NBA. In addition to the Nike swoosh on the chest, adjacent is the StubHub logo, giving the uniform a more complete look.

On the sides, Nike incorporates the 76ers blue with an array of stars streaming down the jersey and pants. Another underrated feature is the font on the back. The Sixers keep it simple with a classic name and number font on a red back. The alternate uniforms will include both a red jersey and red shorts. View the full images of the jerseys here.

Ultimately, the Sixers will wear these alternates more than many other teams. The new alternate red’s are a Christmas must, with the NBA doing away with holiday specific jerseys. The classic, historic spirit of Philadelphia is portrayed throughout the jersey, for sure.
