Odell Beckham Jr. dances with Russell Westbrook while hurt

Reports have surfaced that Odell Beckham Jr. was spotted dancing on his sprained ankle with Russell Westbrook.

All Pro wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is used to making noise off the field. This time it was his unavailability on the field, coupled with off the field actions that are making fans angry.

Reports are making the rounds that OBJ was spotted dancing with NBA MVP and pre-game dancing connoisseur Russell Westbrook.

Beckham sat out the Giants first game of the season; a loss against division rivals the Dallas Cowboys. The team desperately need their best player back on the field. The offense was a disaster against a Cowboys defense that many expected to be a weak unit.

NFL Network’s Patrick Claybon tweeted that those with knowledge of the situation expect this situation to not go over well with the team or fans.

Of course, Claybon is referencing the infamous Giants boat picture that made the rounds during last year’s playoffs.

The CBS report that is linked in the WFAN tweet has interesting quotes that do not put Beckham in a positive light.

"“There were a bunch of models like Taylor Hill on one side and Teyana Taylor and her husband, Iman Shumpert, on the other side cheering them on,” a witness told the Post."

This is not the first time Beckham was spotted busting a move on his busted ankle. His Giants’ teammate J.T. Thomas sent out a Snapchat with the wide receiver showing off his dancing skills. The post has since been deleted.

Beckham was injured in a preseason game against the Browns. He was able to walk off the field under his own power but was shown writhing in pain in the tunnel. The initial reports were that he would be ready to go for Week 1. This all comes during the same offseason that he has been reportedly asking to be the highest-paid player in the league.

The game time decision made by Beckham was highlighted during Sunday Night Football. He looked smooth running routes but you could see pain on his face when the camera zoomed in on him. Of course, dancing and playing professional football are vastly different. Still not a good look to be dancing around New York City after an embarrassing loss that you sat out an injury with.
