Here are five teams that need to come out with a win in Week 2 of the NFL regular season.

There’s finally some separation in the standings as Week 1 of the NFL season is finally over. Half of the 32 teams are 1-0, the other 0-1. We saw some close games and some embarrassing blowouts. Now it’s time for the teams who lost to right their wrongs in Week 2.

While Week 2 really doesn’t tell us much more than Week 1, there are still teams desperate for a win. Starting off the season 0-2 is never ideal and while turning things around is very possible, it’s still a tough position to be in heading forward.

Here are the five teams that need to win this week.

5. New England Patriots

Who knew we’d be putting the Patriots on this list so early in the season, but here they are. The Patriots came confident into their Week 1 matchup against the Chiefs, but were outperformed and out-coached by Andy Reid’s squad. Alex Smith and Kareem Hunt scorched the Patriots defense as the Chiefs hung 42 points on the defending Super Bowl champions.

Luckily for the Patriots, their Week 2 matchup is more than favorable. It’s the perfect punching bag to get rid of any anger from Week 1.

Based on their performance against the Vikings on Monday Night Football, the Saints are going to be terrible this season. They lack any identity on both sides of the ball and it looks like Sean Payton and Adrian Peterson are already getting into some heated arguments. With a crowded backfield, this shouldn’t be surprising. If the Saints defense can give up 300+ passing yards and three touchdowns to Sam Bradford, then Tom Brady should have his way. There’s no way the Patriots don’t win this game by at least double digit points. I don’t think it’s even going to be close.

A win in Week 2 shuts up all of the critics and pundits who are freaking out about this team. We are quick to forget that the last three times the Patriots lost their season opener, they went on to win the Super Bowl. As long as Tom Brady is under center for this team, there’s no way you can count them out, no matter the record.
