All but three of the 16 lines for Week 2 have moved. Basically if your team is bad, nobody believes in you, so you’re getting some points!

Week 2 of the NFL season begins in the Queen City on Thursday night. At Paul Brown Stadium, we’ll get two of the sorriest teams from Week 1, as the Cincinnati Bengals will host the Houston Texans. While Houston got sacked 10 times by the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Bengals couldn’t score a point at home against the Baltimore Ravens.

Playing on Thursday Night Football is the best way to get past getting crushed by a division rival at home. Unless you lose, then it’s so much worse. With that in mind, the Bengals will be laying 3.5 more points than they were at the start of the week. Cincinnati needs to win by more than a touchdown to cover the spread at -6.5.

In fact, 13 of the 16 lines in Week 2 have changed in recent days. Who would have thought that the pointless Bengals would be surrendering the most points against the spread with these in-week adjustments to the line?

Essentially if your team is bad, nobody believes in you. Except the Bengals of course, because the Texans were even more rancid on Sunday than Cincinnati. Here are the updated lines heading into Thursday Night Football. Lines are courtesy of SportsBook Review.
