The Seahawks will need to improve quickly if they want to win the NFC West, but they can get back in the division standings with a win over the 49ers on Sunday.

The Seattle Seahawks did not look strong at all in their first action of the 2017 regular season against the Green Bay Packers, but at least there’s a light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to Week 2. They get to play host to the San Francisco 49ers.

The Seahawks could not get any momentum rolling in their opener last week, with Russell Wilson struggling behind an awful offensive line that seems to have carried over from 2016, and the defense unable to avoid mistakes or stop Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense. Luckily for them, the 49ers are a considerable downgrade from the Packers on both ends of the ball, and this is a chance for the Seahawks to bounce back.

Meanwhile, the 49ers will have the chance to play spoiler in a division where the Los Angeles Rams find themselves on top. The 49ers won’t be winning the division anytime soon, but they can definitely put a dent in the Seahawks chances to do so if they can pull off the huge upset on the road.

Odds: Seahawks -15, according to SportsBook Review

Unfortunately for the 49ers, if things go according to how the odds think they will, they could be in for a rough day in Seattle on Sunday afternoon. The Seahawks offense will likely be looking to open up offensively and get Doug Baldwin more involved in Wilson’s plans, and the 49ers secondary could be in for a lot of suffering on the day.

This game looks like it’ll be an ugly one, so we may see another late game take a turn early on and turn into a blowout if the Seahawks perform as everyone expects them to.

Pick: Seahawks 31, 49ers 10
