Every weekend in college football, there’s certain matchups that don’t get the same sort of attention. Here are five underrated games that you can’t miss.

Every weekend, fans look to the Top 25 schedule in college football and mark down the matchups that feature two ranked opponents. These are the games that have the most on the line, feature the most talent and are broadcast in primetime on one of the larger networks .

But at the same time, there are numerous games every weekend that feature one ranked team or maybe even two unranked teams that have the potential to be an amazing game.

On Saturday, the featured matchups are No. 23 Tennessee heading on the road to take on No. 24 Florida. It’s two ranked teams in the SEC that are battling for position. The No. 3 Clemson vs. No. 14 Louisville is box office. It has Lamar Jackson and Co. hosting the defending national champs at home on Saturday night.

Texas vs. USC is another game that’ll be great to watch, because it features two historic programs. They don’t meet very often, making this game even more worth while.

But at the same time, here are some games that went under the radar that has the potential to be fantastic for the fans.

5. Arizona State at Texas Tech

Arizona State vs. Texas Tech will surely have a lot of firepower involved. It features two offenses that spread everyone out and score a ton of points.

Last season when these two teams met, the score was 68-55 in favor of the Sun Devils. I don’t know about you, but any game that’s high scoring is one that I’m ready to watch.

Yes, Patrick Mahomes isn’t with the Red Raiders anymore, but the Texas Tech offense still continues to roll under head coach Kliff Kingsbury.

Nic Shimonek has taken over where Mahomes left off and done a splendid job. The Red Raiders are 1-0 this season, defeating Eastern Washington, 56-10. On the flip side, Arizona State is 1-1, beating New Mexico State in their opener and dropping the next game against San Diego State.

There’s a potential for this to be an extremely high scoring affair and whenever there’s that many points, it’s hard to predict a clear winner. Texas Tech is currently a seven-point favorite at home, which means there’s a strong chance for this one to be close.

The O/U is set at 76 points and the moneyline for Texas Tech is -300 and +250 for Arizona State, per SportsBookReview.

While both teams are unranked and don’t feature top-end talent, the way they score the ball makes this a great watch on Saturday night.
