With the return of NBA Live to Playstation and XBox, gamers are able to see which players EA Sports holds in the highest regard.

EA Sports has added fuel to the debate over which players are the best at their positions for NBA fans with the release of NBA Live 18. After a brief hiatus from console play in which EA limited the game to mobile devices only, the title has made a triumphant return.

In addition to stellar graphics and increasingly dynamic game controls, the ratings for each player on all 30 NBA teams’ rosters are highly individualized. The game’s career/story mode, The One, also is vastly improved for the return to consoles.

While The One players decide whether to take their talents to the association or ball on one of many street courts around the world in electronic form, the launch ratings of the NBA’s top 50 players also pose several options for gamers.

The overall ratings are compiled based on individual skill ratings. It’s those individual skill ratings which often are more important for serious gamers who have developed specific strategies to conquer opponents. Each team’s roster has its own strengths and weaknesses, and knowing the individual skill ratings of the players on a particular roster is crucial to optimizing that group of players in game.

Nearly all 30 NBA franchises are represented somewhere in these positional rankings, so discovering which rosters will fit best with a gamer’s preferred style begins here. Without any further delay, here are the top 10 highest-rated players at each position in NBA Live 18.
