EA Sports has included all 12 WNBA teams and the league’s best players in NBA Live’s return to consoles, giving them the same ratings treatments as their male counterparts.

All 12 WNBA teams and the All-Star squads for both conferences are included in NBA Live 18, allowing gamers to take the hardwood with the best that the league has to offer in game play mode.

While the team’s rosters aren’t fully accessible in other modes of the game, the fact that these players are given this level of exposure is a tremendous benchmark for the WNBA in terms of being introduced to the world of sports video games.

As the Los Angeles Sparks and Minnesota Lynx are both just one victory away from setting up a WNBA Finals matchup between the two teams, fans might expect those teams to carry the highest number of players on these short lists of the top five highest-rated players at each position.

That expectation proves false. The Chicago Sky and Seattle Storm actually tie for the greatest representation on this list with four players each. The Connecticut Sun and Minnesota Lynx each have three players make an appearance. The Atlanta Dream, Dallas Wings, Sparks and Phoenix Mercury each have two representatives. The New York Liberty, San Antonio Stars and Washington Mystics each lay claim to a solitary player, while the Indiana Fever are shut out of this list.

The position listings reflect the position that the player is listed at on her team’s roster in the game, not necessarily the position she is listed at on her team’s official roster on the real court or the position she is listed at on the game’s All-Star teams.

Without any further explanation, here are the top five highest-rated WNBA players at each position in NBA Live 18, ranked by overall rating.
