The blockbuster fight between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin takes place on Sunday. How much does it cost to order the pay-per-view?

While the Canelo Alvarez fight against Gennady Golovkin won’t yield as many viewers as Floyd Mayweather’s bout versus Conor McGregor, it will still be expensive to watch.

Canelo is challenging Triple G for his IBF, WBA, and WBC belts in the middleweight class. This fight has been talked about for two years. Now, the fight is finally here and you’ll definitely want to know how to consume the action.

The pay-per-view, which is expected to begin its broadcast at 8 PM ET, will cost $79.99 to watch in HD. The fight is being distributed by HBO. One can also stream it online at Ringtv.com for the same price.

There will be a long undercard of fights before Canelo and Golovkin enter the ring around 10:30 PM ET at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The card begins with a lightweight bout, followed by a junior featherweight fight, and a featherweight bout before the main event. Hopefully these fights are exciting enough to be worth the hefty price of admission.

This fight should be a great one to watch since both fighters are such knockout artists.

This will be the first fight for Canelo at 160 pounds after 51 bouts in lower weight classes. His career record is 49-1-1 with 34 wins coming by knockout. Golovkin’s career has been equally impressive having won every professional fight. He is 37-0-0. 33 of his wins came via knockout.

Golovkin is just two wins away from tying the record for most title defenses. Bernard Hopkins holds the record with 20 wins in defense of his heavyweight crown.

While Mayweather vs. McGregor was touted as the best bout of the year prior, Canelo vs. GGG is definitely the fight of 2017 with the implications it has for the pound-for-pound rankings.
