Canelo vs. GGG is truly the can’t-miss boxing match of the year and maybe of a lifetime, but what time do the two fighters step into the ring?

There are few boxing matches in the modern era that bring everything fans want together. Some have all of the flair, but no substance. Others have talent, but not the star-power. Finding the special bouts that have everything, though, is rare. However, Canelo vs. GGG is one of those fights and it’s ready to go down from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV on Saturday, Sept. 16.

Saturday’s middleweight bout is one of the biggest fights in history, and in terms of the immediate repercussions. Gennady Golovkin is one of the best to ever do it, entering this fight with a 37-0-0 record and having 33 knockouts to his credit. At 35 years old, though, his career is on the back side. Meanwhile, Canelo Alvarez is only 27 years old and could be entering his prime, which is impressive considering his 49-1-1 record.

If Alvarez were able to beat Golovkin, it would make him the face of boxing in the minds of many. However, neither he nor GGG have ever faced opponent of this caliber before. Both have tremendous power, but are also blessed with awesome skill and technical ability. These two are most definitely about to push one another to the limit.

Obviously 99 percent of fans will be looking for the main event as opposed to the rest of the card. With that being said, the only advertised time is when the pay-per-view begins. That leaves everyone with a simple question: What time will Canelo vs. GGG itself start on Saturday?
