With ESPN College GameDay at Clemson vs. Louisville, one sign poked fun at Deshaun Watson for not winning the Heisman, but the QB clapped back perfectly.

The majority of college football fans wake up to one thing on Saturday mornings during the season: ESPN College GameDay. For the diehards, it’s the perfect complement to a morning cup of coffee to get ready for a cup of coffee. It’s also a time where fans in attendance bring their GameDay signs, normally with trolling in mind. On Saturday, with the show at the Clemson vs. Louisville matchup, former Tigers quarterback Deshaun Watson was a frequent target.

Specifically, many of the Louisville fans were trolling the former Clemson signal-caller over the Heisman Trophy. As fans will remember, the 2016 award was won by Cardinals quarterback Lamar Jackson over Watson. That’s something that the Louisville faithful were quick to remind everyone of.

One sign in particular caught many people’s eye, and was put out on Twitter by College GameDay’s official account:

There’s no doubt that it’s a well-done sign and troll by this particular fan. However, there’s one problem with the sign — it seems to forget that Watson has something that Jackson and Louisville don’t.

What might that be? After seeing the sign, the now Houston Texans quarterback took it upon himself to let everyone know in response:

Ah, yes. It’s probably a bad idea to troll a player over not winning the Heisman Trophy when he led his team to a National Championship. Otherwise, said player can clap back hilariously with just two emojis and one photo.

Of course, this is all in good fun from both the fans with their signs and from Watson. With that said, this has to go down as an all-time great moment with the quarterback responding so masterfully to being trolled on GameDay.
