Here’s how you can watch Saturday’s Big Ten Conference USA matchup between the Minnesota Golden Gophers and the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders.

The third full week of the college football season is here, and the non-conference schedule across the country is starting to wind down. The Minnesota Golden Gophers are 2-0 after a win over Oregon State last Saturday, and the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders (1-1) beat Syracuse on the road last week in a mild upset.

The Gophers will no longer go with a platoon at quarterback, as Conor Rhoda has been named the starter and primary backup Demry Croft has now been forced to take a leave of absence due to some sort of disciplinary issue.

The Blue Raiders have no such quandary under center with Brent Stockstill firmly entrenched as the starter and coming off a solid game against Syracuse (22-for-36 for 269 yards, three touchdowns, one interception and 11 carries for 41 yards).

Here’s how you can watch Saturday afternoon’s game.

Date: Saturday, Sept. 16
Time: , 2:30 p.m CT
Venue: TCF Bank Stadium-Minneapolis, MN
TV: Big Ten Network
Stream: BTN2Go, FuboTV

According to Sportsbook Review, Minnesota is a 9.5-point betting favorite.

The Gophers, to commemorate their mascot’s birthday will wear a special helmet on Saturday.

The Blue Raiders have lost their last four games against Big Ten teams. But three of those losses have come by a touchdown or less, including a 27-25 loss to Illinois most recently in 2015. They also had a notable non-conference road win last year, over Missouri in a 51-45 shootout.

The Gophers formula is clear, with a formidable running game led by Rodney Smith and Shannon Brooks and a good, opportunistic defense their greatest strengths. But sophomore wide receiver Tyler Johnson has emerged as a big play threat through two games (26.8 yards per catch), as he leads the Big Ten and sits seventh in the country in receiving yards (268).

Middle Tennessee will provide a challenge for Minnesota, with Stockstill under center and a defense coming off holding Syracuse’s fast-paced spread offense to 308 total yards and 23 points last week. But the current line points to it being a solid upset if the Blue Raiders go back to Murfreesboro with a win on Saturday.
