The Oregon Ducks face the Wyoming Cowboys on Saturday, Sept. 16 at War Memorial Stadium, and here’s all the info you need to watch.

Despite not yet cracking the top 25, the Oregon Ducks have been impressive through the first two weeks of the 2017 college football season. Willie Taggart has his new team playing quite well and looking like a dark horse to make noise this year. However, they’ll face a tough matchup on Saturday, Sept. 16 as they head to War Memorial Stadium to face the Wyoming Cowboys.

Justin Herbert has been fine at quarterback for Oregon in wins over Southern Utah and Nebraska. However, the heart of the offense is 100 percent still running back Royce Freeman. He’s made an early claim as a Heisman Trophy candidate and looks to keep that up. This team can score, but their defense will need to come up big too.

Why the Ducks defense is pivotal is that Wyoming has NFL-caliber talent at quarterback. Josh Allen is one of the best 2018 NFL Draft prospects at the position. Though he struggled in Week 1 against Iowa, there’s no ignoring his talent. If the Cowboys were to come up with an upset, it’ll be on the shoulders of Allen.

This could be a highly intriguing matchup depending on how things play out. However, the odds are in favor of Oregon as they’re -14 favorites according to 5Dimes via Sportsbook Review. As for the moneyline, Wyoming is +468 as the underdog at home, while the Ducks on the road sit at -550. Also expect plenty of points with the Over/Under at 61.5.

Oregon has looked quite good to this point in the year, but Wyoming has been a mixed bag. When the home team is at their best with Allen and Co., however, they’re dangerous. It’ll be interesting to see if the Ducks can rise to the occasion in a sneaky matchup on the road.
