Stanford will look to redeem its loss against USC by taking on San Diego State this weekend. Here’s how you can watch the game.

No. 19 Stanford will stay in southern California for a second week in a row, taking on unranked San Diego State in another Pac-12 vs. Mountain West showdown. Last weekend, Stanford went down to L.A. Memorial Coliseum and got soundly defeated by USC, thus dropping their record to 1-1.

On the other hand, San Diego State is sitting at 2-0, after defeating UC Davis and Arizona State. San Diego State will be led primarily by their QB Christian Chapman and RB Rashaad Penny. The Aztecs’ star rusher has over 400 yards in their two games, while the passing offense has less than 300 yards. They’ll look to utilize the same formula against Stanford this weekend.

On the other sideline, the Cardinal game plan has been to use RB Bryce Love heavily and have QB Keller Chryst use play-action and the short-passing game to move the ball. It worked against Rice in Week 1, but not so much against USC. The defense will have to step up against Penny and the Aztecs’ running game, but I think they’ll be up for the challenge.

Stanford’s still ranked in the top 25, and should have no problem against San Diego State this weekend. Here’s how you can watch the game:

Date: Saturday, Sep. 16
Time: 10:30 p.m. ET
Location: San Diego, CA
Venue: Qualcomm Stadium

According to SportsBookReview, the Stanford Cardinal are favored by nine points, with their Moneyline set to -360. The San Diego State Moneyline is set to +300, with the over/under for the game set to 51 points.

If the game goes per plan for HC David Shaw and Stanford, they should easily cover the nine points and win this game in San Diego.
