Week 3 of the 2017 NFL season is here. That means the point spreads for all 16 games are available. Here are the five best bets against the spread.

With all 16 games of the Week 2 slate in the books, let’s turn the page to the upcoming week in the 2017 NFL season. Week 3 looks to be yet another exciting one on the gridiron in the NFL. Let’s hope that it’s as good as last week, as I went 4-1 on my best bets.

Once Sam Bradford couldn’t play against the Pittsburgh Steelers, there was no chance that the Minnesota Vikings were going to cover the seven-point spread at Heinz Field. Other than that, the Denver Broncos throttled the Dallas Cowboys and the New England Patriots smoked the New Orleans Saints.

Hats off to the Buffalo Bills and the San Francisco 49ers for covering in low-scoring affairs, too. The Carolina Panthers and Seattle Seahawks aren’t exactly impressing on offense through two weeks.

So far, I’m 6-3-1 on the year. After a great week against the spread in Week 2, here are my five best bets heading into Week 3. All lines are courtesy of SportsBook Review.

5. Arizona Cardinals (+3) vs. Dallas Cowboys

Take the Arizona Cardinals getting points at home versus the Dallas Cowboys. Arizona may be 1-1 on the year, but the Cardinals needed overtime to beat Jacoby Brissett and the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium in Week 2. Dallas was promptly bulldozed by the Broncos in Mile High.

This will be the Monday night game in Week 3. It will also be the home opener for the Cardinals, who have played in Detroit and Indianapolis to start their season. Though the Lions and Colts are dome teams as well, the Cardinals tend to play their best ball in the sea of red in the Valley of the Sun.

Dallas has yet to show us it can put up points against good defenses. Not to say that Arizona’s is on par with what Denver or the New York Giants have to offer, but the Cardinals defense is a top-half defense in the eyes of many.

If this line is to drop below Cardinals +3, then take the Cowboys. Dallas will likely play better than it did in a dismal showing against the Broncos. Should the line stay at Cardinals +3 or increase, go with the home dogs in this one. It’s disrespectful for the Cardinals to be getting more than three points in a home opener versus anybody. Let’s not forget that the public often overhypes the Cowboys when it comes to Las Vegas bets.
