Notre Dame and Michigan State will battle in a primetime matchup in Week 4 of the college football season.

The fourth week of the college football season is here. The cupcake matchups will slowly go away, while the marquee games pick up as the season crosses the quarter mark. One of those will be Notre Dame vs. Michigan State, in a battle of teams who have a storied history.

Notre Dame sits at 2-1, coming off a win against Boston College, 49-20. There was almost no production from quarterback Brandon Wimbush, who had just 96 passing yards. However, the running game put up an astonishing 515 yards. Wimbush had 207 of those yards (a school record) and four touchdowns. Josh Adams had 229 yards, too, making for an incredible accomplishment of two 200-yard rushers.
