Entering the third week of our NFL picks, we have Jack Jorgensen leading the entire country, while our NFL editor, Matt Verderame, fights for his job.

The NFL is only two weeks in, but already we have one of the more shocking development in sports history breaking out right before our eyes. Our college football editor. Jack Jorgensen, is leading America in NFL picks. Hell, for all we know, it might be the entire world (flat or not).

Whether or not it lasts is anybody’s guess, but Jorgensen should be shilling for a raise if he takes the crown. On the other side of the spectrum, we have Matt Verderame (yours truly). Verderame, the lead NFL editor, has been a disgrace to this point, only bailed out by Mark Carman. This doesn’t say much for Verderame, considering Carm is asleep for at least half the work week at his desk.

Below are the records for all of us, followed by our picks of the week (if you want to know who we all our, here are the descriptions):

Records

Jack Jorgensen: 25-6
Patrick Schmidt: 24-7
Jake Walerius: 23-8
Cody Williams: 23-8
Joel Wagler: 23-8
Mike Dyce: 22-9
Phil Watson: 22-9
Patrick Allen: 21-10
Josh Hill: 20-11
Kayla Knierim: 20-11
Michael Collins: 20-11
Matt Verderame: 18-13
Mark Carman: 15-16

This week saw plenty of sweeps, unless you take Mark Carman seriously. Don’t ever take him seriously. Everybody believes (sans Carm) that the Kansas City Chiefs, Pittsburgh Steelers, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams will win. We had actual clean sweeps with the Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers and Miami Dolphins.
