The Los Angeles Rams are looking good through the first two weeks of the season, and they’ll have a chance to down an NFC West rival on Thursday night.

If you had asked who would be playing the best out of the NFC West through the first two weeks of the season before the year got underway, not many would’ve said the Los Angeles Rams as their answer. Either way, here we are heading into Week 3, and the Rams are likely the best team that the division has to offer at the moment.

The team is 1-1, like two of their divisional rivals in the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals, but they’ve put up the most points offensively and have been relatively sound defensively along the way. Now, they’ll look to keep things up on the primetime stage of Thursday Night Football against the San Francisco 49ers on the road and gain ground in the division at the same time.

Meanwhile, the 49ers will try to take down the Rams from their high pedestal to start the season, and earn their first win of the season in the process. It isn’t incredibly likely with how the 49ers offense has played through the first two weeks, but this could be the week to turn things around.

Odds: Rams -2, according to SportsBook Review

The Rams have put on some solid performances over the last two weeks, and their loss last week was mainly due to their defense not holding up against the Redskins late in the fourth quarter. They won’t have to worry much against a lackluster 49ers offense, so this week should be easier.

As long as the Rams can keep up the pace offensively that they’ve set for themselves, they should be able to put on a better performance than the Seahawks did last Sunday against this same 49ers defense, and should come out with a road win for their efforts.

Pick: Rams 23, 49ers 10
