3. Todd Graham

Todd Graham is praying for a miracle with a team that simply isn’t good enough to compete. The Arizona State Sun Devils dropped to a losing record after a tough loss on the road against Texas Tech last week.

While the Sun Devils rallied and managed to tie the game, it wasn’t enough as they got the loss. What makes that loss even worse is that they now enter conference play with a losing record and a daunting record.

There’s no guaranteed win on their schedule the rest of the way and the program has already lost eight out of their last nine games. That slide is going to get real serious and it’s just hard to see how Graham could survive such a fall.

If this team wants to save the job of their coach, it starts with a more collective effort on the defensive end and not falling behind early. Their first test in conference play is going to be a difficult one.

They will begin at home against the Oregon Ducks. The Pac-12 North program has been on fire to begin the season. If Arizona State drops to 1-3, things are going to keep going south in a hurry for Graham.
