Looking forward to the AFC East battle between the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets? Check here where you can catch this contest.

A season ago, it was the New York Jets that were coming off a promising season. But after a 10-6 finish in 2015, Todd Bowles’ club plummeted to 5-11 and hasn’t recovered since.

This year, the Miami Dolphins are looking for bigger and better things after 10 wins and the team’s first playoff berth since 2008.

This Sunday, these longtime AFC East rivals clash at MetLife Stadium.

Last season, the Dolphins swept the Green and White for the first since 2009. In Week 9 at Miami, Adam Gase’s club came away with a 27-23 triumph. Six weeks later at MetLife Stadium (Week 15), Miami rolled to a 34-13 win.

Line: Dolphins (-6)

The Dolphins come off a narrow 19-17 road win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Meanwhile, the Jets were also on the west coast last week and on the short end of a 45-20 loss to the Raiders at Oakland. The line for this game (courtesy of SportsBook Review) may seem somewhat high but keep in mind that Miami had its way in this series twice in 2016.

The ground game that propelled the Miami Dolphins to a 9-2 finish a season ago picked up where it left off against the Bolts last Sunday. Meanwhile, a New York defense that allowed 190 yards on the ground in Week 1 at Buffalo was gouged for 180 yards rushing at Oakland. It figures to be another long day for Jets’ defenders, while Bowles’ offense continues to find a rhythm.
