College Football Week 4: 5 best post-game quotes from coaches
Week 4 of the college football season is in the books and there was no shortage of exciting play and solid post-game quotes.
College football has been kind to its fans for the first month of the season. It has provided a ton of upsets, crazy plays, notable quotes and complete meltdowns. The 2017 season has the feel of a wild one, maybe rivaling the crazy 2007 campaign which is widely regarded as the craziest of the 21st century.
The first few weeks have had both positive and negative effects on coaches around the country. Coaches are known for providing memorable quotes after big wins, tough losses and everything in between.
Many coaches provide too much coach-speak, though. Meaning, they don’t give away too much after big games and usually use the lines “one game at a time” or “take it day by day” or other sayings that don’t provide much to the media and fans.
Week 4 was a wild one, though. College football fans were treated to near-upsets of top-tier teams (Oklahoma) by winless squads (Baylor), ranked teams falling out of the rankings after losses to unranked foes and some unranked battles that were just as good as top-10 showdowns.
Oh, and coaches didn’t have a shortage of memorable sayings from the week that was. Guys like Brian Kelly, Jim Harbaugh and James Franklin made headlines for what they said following big wins.
Let’s take a look at the five best post-game quotes from coaches in Week 3.
