On Sunday at Philadelphia, the Eagles showed the New York Giants no brotherly love. So what was the aftermath of this thrilling Week 3 tilt?

From cruising to a blown lead to an incredible finish, the Philadelphia Eagles’ 27-24 win over the snake bitten New York Giants had a little bit of everything. But mostly it had Eagles kicker Jake Elliott, who nailed a 61-yard field goal at the gun to drop Ben McAdoo’s team to 0-3.

1. Jake Elliott

He finished the afternoon with exactly one-third of the Eagles’ 27 points. But it was his pair of field goals in the final minutes, from 46 and then 61 yards out, that paved the way for Philadelphia’s thrilling win.

2. Carson Wentz

The second-year quarterback only threw for 176 yards and was sacked three times. But he connected for one score, ran six times for 22 yards and orchestrated a pair of fourth-quarter drives that ended in field goals –

this after the Eagles trailed late, 24-21.

3. Odell Beckham Jr.

His amazing skills were on display in the City of Brotherly Love. With the Giants down 14-0 in the fourth quarter, ODJ came up with an impressive pair of TD grabs. He finished with nine catches for 79 yards and those two scores but the Giants fell to 0-3.

Entering the game, the Giants had dropped five of their last six games in this rivalry – including three straight at Philadelphia. Hence the Eagles as a 5-point favorite.
