This Sunday’s episode of Rick and Morty season 3 will provide fans of the Adult Swim show with something they’ve been curious about: insight into Beth’s childhood.

Season 3, episode 9 is called “The ABC’s of Beth” and involves Beth (Sarah Chalke) looking back at her younger years, so maybe we’ll find out more about her father Rick’s (Justin Roiland) departure from the family and what it was like for her to be raised by her mother. That’s part of canon that Rick and Morty hasn’t filled in yet, so we’re really curious what Beth’s going to spill.

Meanwhile, Beth’s soon to be ex-husband Jerry (Chris Parnell) might be moving on with another woman. Of course, knowing how Rick and Morty treats Jerry, that woman will end up being some sort of man-eating monster in a woman’s body. Or one of those hookers outside his apartment building. Or something else terrible, because there’s no way this ends well.
