The Cowboys and Cardinals will be featured on Monday Night Football, and the two teams will surely put on a show in their Week 3 matchup.

The Dallas Cowboys did not put on a very good showing against the Denver Broncos in Week 2, and they’ll need to prove that they can return to their usual dominance when they go on the road to battle the 1-1 Arizona Cardinals in Week 3.

Last week, the Cowboys fell in a pitiful 42-17 loss on the road, and suffered just their fifth loss since the beginning of the 2016 regular season. They looked strong in their season opener against the New York Giants, where they finally got over the hump to take down their divisional rival for the first time in two seasons, but fell apart in their loss to the Broncos.

Meanwhile, the Cardinals had a surprisingly close game against a relatively weak Indianapolis Colts lineup, squeaking out a tight 16-13 win on the road in overtime. The loss of David Johnson from their backfield surely leaves a dent in the team’s offense, but the Cardinals pulled out the win regardless to get back in a tie for first in the NFC West after Week 2.

Now, the two teams will each try to step it up on Monday night in primetime as they both look to get their respective offenses back on track. The Cowboys will need some increased production from Ezekiel Elliott in their backfield, as he was held to eight rushing yards in Week 3 against a solid Broncos defense.

If Elliott can get the Cowboys rushing attack back on track in Arizona on Monday night, the team should be in store for a solid win. Elliott’s success would open up the team’s ability for play-action, where Dak Prescott can get rolling on offense, and that could lead to a big win on the road for the Cowboys on Monday night.

Pick: Cowboys 23, Cardinals 17
