Dancing with the Stars season 25: Watch week 2, part 1 online
Dancing with the Stars will not only eliminate its first celebrity tonight, but also restrict the couples to one style. Get ready for Ballroom Night!
Last week’s Dancing with the Stars season 25 premiere went about as expected, with some stars earning praise and others mostly earning constructive criticism.
This week, as we mentioned last week, there are actually two episodes, one tonight and one on Tuesday night. Tonight’s theme, according to ABC’s press release, is Ballroom Night.
As a result, everyone’s pretty together in terms of styles, but here’s the press release’s list of who’s dancing what tonight:
"Barbara Corcoran and Keo Motsepe: TangoDebbie Gibson and Alan Bersten: QuickstepDerek Fisher and Sharna Burgess: FoxtrotDrew Scott and Emma Slater: QuickstepFrankie Muniz and Witney Carson: TangoJordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold: Viennese WaltzLindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas: QuickstepNick Lachey and Peta Murgatroyd: FoxtrotNikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev: WaltzSasha Pieterse and Gleb Savchenko: Viennese WaltzTerrell Owens and Cheryl Burke: FoxtrotVanessa Lachey and Maks Chmerkovskiy: FoxtrotVictoria Arlen and Val Chmerkovskiy: Tango"
Last week, no one scored above a 22, which seems like a low bar to beat this week. Granted, no one is repeating a dance this early in the season, but some have already given ballroom styles a shot. Granted, the difference between this week’s style and last week’s for stars like Drew Scott (who started with foxtrot and must now contend with quickstep) might be a little big, but it’s still not as big as someone like Derek Fisher, who’s going from salsa to foxtrot.

In terms of musical choices, there are a few songs that stick out. For example, Terrell Owens has ZAYN’s “Pillow Talk” for his foxtrot, Victoria Arlen has “Look What You Made Me Do” from Taylor Swift, and Imagine Dragons’ song “Whatever It Takes” will provide Frankie Muniz’s soundtrack. However, others have more traditional, expected songs like “Sing, Sing, Sing” for Drew Scott and his quickstep.
