There was a ton of player movement during the offseason, so let’s take a look at 10 players who might struggle in their new homes this season.

Truly, what a day to be alive. As a fan of the National Basketball Association, this was one of the wildest offseasons ever. Seeing that many superstars move to different teams puts into perspective just how crazy this next season is going to be.

Players in the West are teaming up to beat the Golden State Warriors, while teams out in the East are planning on waiting out the dominance of LeBron James and the Cavaliers.

What resulted was a ton of player movement and while a lot of NBA stars ended up in good homes, some will likely struggle in their new spots. Here are 10 players who changed teams and might find things a little bit harder in their new homes.

10. Allen Crabbe, Brooklyn Nets

One of the key things for the Nets this offseason was to acquire as many assets as possible. They were willing to acquire assets so badly that they added bad contracts in order to get these draft picks.

In the playoff series against the Golden State Warriors, Crabbe couldn’t be depended on to be a consistent third scorer or defender. With that much salary tied up to one player, the Blazers decided it was time to move on from him.

Crabbe is playing on a team loaded with wings and two point guards who are probably better as scorers than facilitators. It’s a wide-open system in Brooklyn but that loose structure might not be the best fit for everyone.
