Fantasy football Week 4 rankings: Who to start and sit
Sit: Terrelle Pryor
It’s just not working at the moment for Terrelle Pryor in Washington. While his Week 1 performance was encouraging (11 targets, six receptions and 66 yards), we should be worried by what we’ve seen in the two weeks since then. Against the Los Angeles Rams, Pryor only had two grabs for 31 yards on four targets, and against Oakland on Monday night it was even worse – two catches for 19 yards (on the same four targets).
With Chris Thompson emerging as arguably the best receiver on the team (including the wideouts), it’s troubling that Pryor hasn’t developed more of a relationship and rapport with his quarterback Kirk Cousins. With Josh Doctson finally making a splash play and scoring a long touchdown, and Jamison Crowder grabbing six balls and looking more of a top target for Cousins, it’s not looking good for the former Cleveland Brown.
The Redskins face the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend, and Pryor could be facing up against one of the best in the game in cornerback Marcus Peters. I’m struggling to see how Pryor makes an impact in this game, and he’s becoming more and more of a wasted early draft pick. Sit him until he breaks out.
