Here are five teams that need to come away with a win in Week 4 of the NFL regular season.

Week 4 is still early in the 16-game NFL regular season, but the reality is already starting to set in for some teams. Two or three losses on the season doesn’t completely take away playoff chances, but it puts them in a tough position heading forward. By now, coaches’ seats begin to start to heat up if their teams aren’t playing up to expectations.

Here are five NFL teams that must come away with a win in Week 4.

5. New York Giants

Can the Giants finally win so I can stop putting them on this list? As long as they keep losing, every game from here on out is a must-win. They had their best chance last week but lost in crushing fashion against the Eagles thanks to a Jake Elliott 61-yard field goal.

I would like to say things are getting easier for the Giants, but that’s not the case whatsoever. They are on the road in Week 4 to take on a Buccaneers team that are coming off a loss to the Vikings. The desperation for a win is growing larger and larger as Ben McAdoo’s starts to heat up.

A glaring problem early this season hasn’t been the lack of offense, but the defense. The Giants pass defense has held up, but the run defense has been terrible. They currently rank last in the NFL giving up 153.3 rushing yards per game. It doesn’t matter how good of a team you are, allowing that many yards on the ground makes it hard to win.

There’s no nice way to put it, the Giants have stunk early on this season, but the playoffs aren’t out of the realm of possibility, but the only way that happens is if they win on Sunday. With a 0-4 start, you can pretty much write the rest of the season off.
