1. Seattle Seahawks

What is up with the Seahawks this season? The team everyone said we should fear is 1-2 and coming off a 33-27 loss to the Titans. This big bad defense filled with Pro Bowlers gave up over 400 yards of offense and didn’t force a single turnover. Now at a place they didn’t expect to be, the Seahawks enter Sunday night against the Colts with a game they need to win.

Not all of the blame can be centered around the offense. Russell Wilson and company finally got things going in Week 3 and put up a good chunk of points. The problem against the Titans came on the defensive side of the ball. The Seahawks gave up two plays of 50+ yards or more, which is a confidence killer. There is too much talent on the defense for something like that to be happening.

Coming up against the Colts in prime time on Sunday night, the Seahawks should dominate this game. The Colts are also 1-2 but beat the Browns. They have a third-string quarterback as the starter so we have to take things with a grain of salt. Backed by the atmosphere of the 12th man, there’s no reason this game shouldn’t be a blowout. If the Seahawks are as good of a team as everyone expects this season, they’ll win this game handily.

There’s no time to panic right at the moment, but this is not the performance we expected from the Seahawks this early on in the season. A win keeps them in contention in an NFC West division that shouldn’t be hard to win. But this all depends on the Seahawks ability to get back on track and start winning football games.
