It’s an interesting clash between a pair of 2-1 teams as the Dallas Cowboys host the Los Angeles Rams. Which team will prevail in this contest?

Kudos to the Dallas Cowboys for their Monday night bounce-back win at Arizona. Off a 42-17 loss to the Denver Broncos one week earlier, the team played well. Jason Garrett’s club featured a balanced attack and an aggressive defense in a 28-17 triumph over the Cardinals.

Now the defending NFC East champions have another tough task this week at home against the improved Los Angeles’ Rams offense. A team that finished with an NFL-low 224 points in 2016 has already put a league-high 107 points on the board in three contests. A Rams’ offensive unit that managed only 23 visits to the end zone a year ago has totaled 10 offensive touchdowns so far this year.

Meanwhile, the spotlight will be on the quarterback class of 2016, both first overall selection Jared Goff and fourth-round pick Dak Prescott.

Odds

Line: Cowboys (-7)

Over/Under: 47.5

Despite the fact that the Rams are finding ways to put points on the board, the Cowboys are a prohibitive favorite according to SportsBook Review. That over/under is intriguing and we feel it’s ripe for the taking.

We have been waiting for the Dallas’ defense to rise in terms of the pass rush and defensive end Demarcus Lawrence came up big on Monday night at Arizona. We get the feeling he will continue to have his moments. Even more so, the Rams’ defense has been shaky against the run early in this season. This will be a great opportunity for the Cowboys’ ground attack to get untracked.

Pick: Cowboys 27, Rams 21
